Guess what??.... Yup, we're on the move again. Grace is 9 months old, which means that we've been here 11 months and I guess that's long enough. Its cool, though. This first move was just a part of the process. Dan is now going to be the head coach at Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX. Its a Division III school so yeah! Dan has reached his goal of coaching a college team before even turning 30! Its just north of Austin, TX and 1 1/2-2 hrs from where we are now. At least it won't be such a daunting move this time and I'm not so incredibly torn to leave my job this time because I was looking elsewhere even if we were staying here. As you can see, Grace is excited. Baxter's a little concerned as he always is, hoping he'll get to 'go'. I seriously think his anxiety level goes up each time as he sees me start packing boxes and wondering if the plans include him :) But he's made it so far on every one of our many, many moves.
Dan will finish out the summer season with SA Wave and we'll be heading up there at the beginning of August. Anyone want to buy a house?!
We're pretty excited, well, Dan is VERY excited. I will be too, once we make it there all in one piece. I'm excited about the fact that Dan'll be home in the evenings at a better hour, 6 maybe, rather than 8:30. Everyone tells us we'll love Austin, its very laid back and tons of things to do outdoors. Then of course there's Lance Armstrong's bike shop and the slight chance of a possible encounter with him...
We'll keep ya posted....
We took Grace to the zoo. Looks like she had a good time :)
